UCL is committed to achieving best practice in the management of health and safety and to preventing any possible harm to its staff, students and visitors. All departments at UCL have a Departmental Statement of Safety Policy which outlines the arrangements they have for managing the health and safety of students engaged in activities on their academic programmes at UCL.
The UCL SafetyNet website run by Safety Services contains a wide range of information on many different health and safety issues, including an incident report tool.
UCL also has arrangements for managing any major incidents or emergencies that may impact upon its activities, such as adverse weather conditions or power failure, to maintain the continuity of students’ academic programmes as far as is possible.
