2013 Neuroscience Symposium

Registration opens at 8.15am sharp, and the first session of talks will begin in Logan Hall at 9.00am. Speakers this year include, Professor Maria Fitzgerald, Dr Parashkev Nachev, Professor John Hardy, Professor Alex Thomson, Professor Kenneth D. Harris, Dr Joerg Albert, Professor Patricia C. Salinas and Dr David Osborn, as well as the Early Career Neuroscience Prize winners.
Our keynote speaker is Professor Nicola Clayton from the University of Cambridge. Professor Clayton is also the Rambert Dance Company’s Scientist in Residence and she will be giving a talk on 'Ways of thinking: from crows to children and back again'.

Poster Exhibition
We will have nearly 150 posters on show at the 2013 Neuroscience Symposium.
The poster abstract booklet (see link below) contains a list of all the posters that will be on show, complete with abstracts and author details.
- Poster session 1 will take place from 10.40am to 12noon and will feature both research and laboratory posters with odd numbers;
- Poster session 2 will take place from 1.25pm to 2.45pm and will feature both research and laboratory posters with even numbers;
- Laboratory posters will remain in place for the Early Career Neuroscience networking event during the wine reception from 5pm to 7pm.
Ticket Confirmation/Cancellations
All delegates will be sent a copy of their tickets on Wednesday 19 June. Please take a printed copy of your ticket to present at the registration desk on Friday morning. If you don't have a ticket, staff on the registration desk will ask you for a copy of your UCL ID or another valid form of ID to confirm your booking.
If you can no longer attend the Symposium, please email Rachel Heatley r.heatley@ucl.ac.uk ASAP, so that other colleagues in the Neuroscience community may avail of your ticket.
