UCL Clinical Paediatric Neuropsychology Training Programme

Introduction

This comprehensive professional training programme is designed to train internal students or external professionals in various aspects of science underpinning clinical paediatric neuropsychology practice. The programme draws upon the wealth of specialist expertise particularly within UCL Institute of Child Health (ICH), UCL Neuroscience departments, Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children (GOSH) as well as other leading international institutions. The programme is attached to the Developmental Cognitive Neuroscience Unit, ICH and the Department of Clinical Neuropsychology, GOSH both led by Professor Faraneh Vargha-Khadem. 

The training programme includes MSc and Diploma qualifications, short focused CPD courses for qualified professionals and large international symposia including the Baby Brains Around the World Project: An International On-line Conference

The UCL training programme includes the MSc/Post-graduate Diploma in Clinical Paediatric Neuropsychology which is currently the only paediatric programme in the United Kingdom that is accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS) so that students who qualify are deemed to have completed the academic components of the BPS professional Qualification in Clinical Paediatric Neuropsychology (QiCN-paediatric).
