10-12th October 2017
PLEASE NOTE THIS COURSE IS NOW FULLY BOOKED.
This is a new, three day course on Renal Transplantation designed for consultants and specialist registrars in Nephrology and Transplant Surgery. It will be held at the Royal Free Hospital, London, from 10 – 12 October 2017.
The course is designed to cover a wide range of clinically important topics in transplantation, from pre-transplant assessment of recipients, donor assessment and histocompatibility to transplant surgery and surgical complications, followed by management of post-transplant medical and immunological complications, recurrent disease and transplant pathology. It will be run over three days, with each day having a specific theme, so that the course can be attended in a modular fashion if desired. Some topics will be presented in a lecture format, whilst others will be presented in round-table group discussions with clinical cases covering the complex donor and recipient scenarios encountered in clinical practice.
The international faculty has extensive specialist and subspecialist experience in transplantation.
UCL Renal Transplantation Course has been approved by the Federation of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom for 20 category 1 (external) CPD credits.
