Current Questions and iPads

Using an iPad in the Grant Museum

The QRator project ran from 2011 to 2015

The Grant Museum of Zoology is a centre for discussion and dialogue. We used ten of our display cases to ask visitors to get involved in conversations about the role of science in society and how museums should be run. Visitors could responded on fixed iPads, on their own smart phones using QR codes or the Tales of Things App, via Twitter using #GrantQR and @uclmuseums or on their computers.

The project website, with all the conversations, is at

The project - called QRator - was developed in partnership with UCL Centre for Advanced Spatial Analysis and UCL Digital Humanities, funded by UCL Public Engagement Unit.
