Volunteering opportunities

Museum Experience

The Petrie Museum offers a vibrant and diverse volunteering program that will provide our volunteers with a holistic experience of the museum world. Volunteers are encouraged to work towards a certificate of qualification which will relate to their skills and attributes displayed. Volunteers will gain experience of roles relating to front of house, office management, events and specialist museum projects and exhibitions.

Current Opportunities

We currently require no further volunteers, however more slots will be available in September.

Due to space and staff constraints, the Museum cannot guarantee offers for student placements and internships. If you are interested in applying please submit a CV via email or post and complete an Application Form. Please read the role description before submitting your form.
