We have a wide programme of services for schools, which
link to specific areas of the National Curriculum. Teachers can arrange
for our learning staff to visit their classrooms to run hands-on
sessions with real objects, or they can bring their pupils to the Petrie
or Grant Museums.
We work with a wide range of Secondary
schools that are on UCL Outreach's list of target schools.
Our range of loan boxes can be borrowed by any school, and teachers can download lesson-plans to explore some of the subjects that our museums cover.
We also work closely with UCL’s Outreach Team to raise aspirations among young people. The Outreach Office at UCL leads on the development and implementation of UCL’s UK undergraduate recruitment strategies, with particular emphasis on widening participation from students and young people from under-represented groups. They offer a range of activities for school and college students.
See the UCL Outreach site for more details on the activities that are available.
