Volunteering for the geology collections is a great way to build up your practical knowledge of specimens, and help us at the same time.
The collection offers many opportunities for students to get involved in education (see our Learning page for more details of what we offer), conservation of the specimens, documentation of the collection and general assistance. There are always plenty of things to do, and we can usually tailor your activities to your own abilities.
