Zaraby (Az-Zaraby)

(26°59' N 31°16'E)

Zaraby is the modern name for a small cemetery in the western desert near the modern village with that name. Mackay excavated 126 tombs. They belong to the end of the Old Kingdom; some of them might be later (Seidlmayer 1990: 349-350).

The cemetery is published only in a description; without tomb register etc. The notebook is the most important source for reconstructing the burials.
