Area around Tarkhan Tomb 414

Petrie did not provide a number for all tombs on the map: these tombs might have been found empty or with very few finds.

The outline of a possible mastaba is given around each of the two large tombs, 412 and 414, on the map below; no traces survived on the ground, but the gap between the chambers indicates some distinctive surface feature in the context of this crowded cemetery area, especially given the apparent alignment of smaller chambers along two sides of Tomb 412.
