Memphis: Terracotta UC 48026

Mouldmade hollow terracotta figure representing a camel, manufactured in two halves. There are traces of red paint on the surface of the neck. The camel stands with neck straight and head up. It wears a saddle and holds three amphorae on each side. There is a small hole underneath; the legs, however, are sealed at the base.
