New Kingdom (about 1550-1069 BC) tombs at Gurob: pyramidia

Some of the bigger tombs at Gurob must once have had a pyramid. From parallels it can be concluded that the pyramid either stood on top of the chapel at the back of the tomb or behind the chapel. The top of such pyramid (which was never very big) was adorned with a decorated pyramidion..
