Gurob, tomb 36

date: 19th Dynasty

in the tomb was found the shabti of a person called sS (reading of the name is uncertain)

The tomb is a typical example of a 'temple tomb' of the New Kingdom (about 1550-1069 BC). At its back or on the top of the chamber in the back, there might have been a small pyramid. Similar tombs have been excavated at Thebes, Soleb, Aniba, Saqqara, Abydos.
