Nubia: the kings of the Napatan Period (after
the Twenty-fifth Dynasty)
The order of the following kings is well established; they date
to about the 7th and 6th century.
The order of the following kings is not certain, as they are mostly only
known from their tombs and small monuments (about 6th and 5th century):
Some of the following kings are well attested by longer inscriptions (end
of 5th and 4th century BC?)
(the order is far from certain)
Arkamaniqo (Ergamenes I) contemporary with Ptolemy
. First King buried in Meroe. He is also known from Greek sources.
