Roman Period architecture: Egyptian style

Several of the well preserved Egyptian temples dating to the Ptolemaic Period (Denderah, Kom Ombo, Philae) were completed in the Roman Period. In the first century AD there are many building projects for Egyptian style temples, whereas there are only a few datable to the third century AD.
