Armant: Islamic Pottery

Unglazed pottery potsherd from filter. Pierced and incised design featuring a figure and a running hare. The hare is facing to left in side view. Incisions delineate neck, ribs, and haunches. Female figure stands with hands raised. Wears headdress with hatching and costume has diagonal lines at neck and belt. Skirt is hatched. Greenish cream clay fabric.
