Abydos, tomb 291

date: Middle Kingdom

Undisturbed burial of a man (?) in a wooden coffin. Excavated by Petrie in 1925; not published. Description of the tomb card for the jewellery:

'round the neck, bug round carnelian and 1 carnelian amulet' (must be UC 43080)
