Writing of names in the First Dynasty

Stelae from Abydos found on subsidiary tombs showing names and titles of the buried persons.
The inscriptions are relatively easy to read, partlt because it can be expected from the context that titles and names are to be found: Similar names and titles are found on later monuments. The pictures of man and woman on the stelae are identical to the 'idea signs': 'man', 'woman'.
