Kafr Ammar Tomb 28

Date: End of Old Kingdom, Sixth Dynasty (?) (about 2200 BC)

The button seal UC 37090 (made in bone) was found at the neck of the deceased. The person was buried at the bottom of a simple shaft without chamber inside a coffin. Apart from the seal and a thick pad of linen under the body the coffin was empty

Measurements of the coffin: 93 x 48 x 38 (depth) cm
