Memphis: Terracotta UC 8781

Buff pottery figure of Harpocrates (?); standing on a base with hemispherical section, naked with large phallus, holding another figure of Harpocrates on his left shoulder, this figure is also naked with large phallus and wears double crown. Top of headdress of larger figure is broken, but was probably compound with sidelock. Figure leans over a filled basked on left on a small table. Hollow; traces of white paint on front, back plain with circular vent hole in centre. Once broken across abdomen, now repaired. Ptolemaic to Roman Period.
