Koptos: Roman Pottery: UC 35019

Fragment of flat-based dish (reconstructed from 3 pieces) of Pompeian red ware. Possibly produced on the west coast of Italy, but burning has made lime inclusions more obvious than usual and masked other grits; red-glazed slip on interior. First century AD.
