Planetary scientists are available to give a variety of public talks to schools, astronomical societies, science festivals, and other venues.

Some examples of talks:

  • "Wandering Giants" - A tour of the giant planets of our Solar System. Suitable for Key Stage 3/4/5 and adult audiences. Available from Dr. Chris Arridge.
  • "Strangers and Giants" - A tour of the Ice Giants, Uranus and Neptune, finishing with the question, when will we go back! Suitable for Key stage 4/5 and adult audiences. Available from Dr. Chris Arridge.
  • "Weather in Space" - A look at the phenomenon of Space Weather. Suitable for all ages. Available from Prof. Andrew Coates.
  • "The Lord of the Rings" - A tour the Saturn system from the Cassini spacecraft. Suitable for Key stage 4/5 and adult audiences. Available from Sheila Kanani.
  • "Tour of the Solar System" - A tour of the planets in our Solar System from unmanned and manned space exploration. Suitable for Key stage 4/5 and adult audiences. Available from Sheila Kanani.
  • "Careers in Space Scientist" - Schools talk on careers in space science. Suitable for Key stages 3/4/5. Available from Dr. Chris Arridge.
  • "Exploring Mars" - An exploration of Mars using the latest images and scientific information from Mars and looking ahead at new missions. Suitable for all ages. Available from Prof. Andrew Coates.
  • "Oceans on Other Worlds" - Exploring oceans and large bodies of water on other worlds in the Solar System. Suitable for all ages. Available from Prof. Andrew Coates.
