Joint meeting of the European Planetology Network and Division of Planetary Sciences of the American Astronomical Society in Nantes, France

From 3 - 7 October 2011 Prof. Andrew Coates and Dr. Adam Masters attended the joint meeting of the European Planetology Network and the American Astronomical Association's Division of Planetary Sciences.
This conference, known as EPSC-DPS was held in Nantes and brought together 1535 participants from 42 countries. Papers were presented on the ExoMars PanCam instrument (Coates), surface waves on Saturn's magnetopause (Masters), electrical charging of Saturn's moon Rhea (Jones), comet observations (Ramanjooloo) and accelerated electrons in Saturn's magnetotail (Arridge). Dr. Masters also co-convened a session on Magnetospheres of the Giant Planets.
