Junior Product Assurance Engineer

Applications are invited for a position in the Product Assurance Group at the Mullard Space Science Laboratory, University College London. The group is currently involved in producing scientific instrumentation for a number of ESA space missions, including Exomars, Euclid and Plato. The successful applicant will provide support to these space flight hardware campaigns.  The position is available for a self starter who has an eye for detail and understands the ideas of continuous improvement and quality. This is a challenging role which requires common sense, taking pleasure in being busy and enjoying multi-tasking to complete all tasks in hand. Also, good computer literacy is key and the successful applicant should be eager to strengthen and develop their  problem solving skills. 

The successful applicant should be interested in the space industry and have a minimum of 3 A levels, or equivalent, with an engineering or product assurance qualification being an advantage, but not essential. The post is for 2 years in the first instance, continuation subject to grant funding. The salary is on UCL Salary Grade 6, ranging from £24,565 - £29,301 per annum depending on experience.
