UCL/MSSL is hosting the 3rd Probe the Sun Inside and Out workshop sponsored by the Leverhulme Trust from 20-23 May 2013. This project is aimed at using this wealth of data to allow us to connect up the unusual behaviour in the interior to that of the solar atmosphere and in so doing provide a firm foundation for advances in the understanding of the cyclic behaviour of the Sun.

UCL's Mullard Space Science Laboratory will be hosting the STFC funded advancedsummer school in solar and solar-terrestrial physics from 2-6 September 2013. The school will be held at MSSL and will consist of a programme of specialised lectures aimed at PhD students entering their second and third years, as well as beginning PDRAs.
