Dr Adam Lea
Adam Lea joined the Department of Space and Climate Physics in November 2002 as a postdoctorial research fellow. His research interests are the seasonal prediction of hurricanes, typhoons and tropical cyclones in the Atlantic, Northwest Pacific and Australian regions. Adam received a 1st class degree in Mathematics and Meteorology at the University of Reading between 1996 and 1999, and completed his PhD in "Turbulent Flow over Forested Hills" at the University of Leeds (1999-2003). His hobbies include golf, bridge, chess and hiking.
