E-skills UK is the government lead body which provides the infrastructure for the whole of the national information technology for business initiative and of which the Information Management for Business (IMB) degree course is a major part.
E-skills UK
provide facilities, resources and student activities regularly throughout the
year. They also provide a library and archive of lectures, papers, research and
expert practice which serves as one of the foundations for the development of
this approach to leadership, enterprise, management and IT which is so crucial
to the future of the UK and of its major companies and organisations.
E-skills UK provides its own internships and portfolio
of work experience, making sure that it contributes effectively to the
relationship between UCL and the employers involved in the programme.
E-skills UK also provide a community website, which includes links to all of the top employers and the opportunities that they have on offer. The community links to students at the other universities involved, and to a great collection of lectures and contacts with the companies that support the programme.
