UCL Course Units/ECTS Credits

The expected workload for a full-time student for one year is 4 UCL course credits. Five departments at UCL are piloting the European Credit Transfer Scheme (ECTS), whereby credit gained at participating Universities is recognised at other institutions using ECTS. Courses that are eligible for ECTS recognition have the ECTS Credit value stated. Visiting the ECTS pages within the International section of the UCL website will provide practical support and detailed information.

4.0 UCL Course Units = 60 ECTS Credits

0.5UCL Course Units = 7.5 ECTS Credits

all within the Management Studies Centre with the exception of the Dissertation have a value of 0.5 CU / 7.5 ECTS Credits.
