Dr Mihaela Stan (and Professor Freek Vermeulen of London Business School) have received the INFORMS-Industry Studies Association Best Paper Prize of 2014 for their work ‘Selection at the Gate: Difficult Cases, Spillovers, and Organizational Learning’ which was published in Organization Science in 2013.

On Monday 24th March 2014, members of the MS&I founded Women in Management (WiM) society hosted an interactive workshop for a group of 48 young female pupils aged 11-13 years old at UCL Academy. UCL Academy, which opened in September 2012, is the first university sponsored school in the UK with ground breaking curriculum ambitions.
