- PhD in Management Science and Operations
o focus on new product development, decision making, operations-marketing interface, supply chain economics, healthcare operations management, etc.
- PhD in Strategy and Organizational Behavior
o focus on organizational learning, innovation, interpersonal perception of performance, social networks, etc.
The PhD Programme in Management Science and Innovation develops world-class academics for careers in top universities and business schools. The emphasis is relentlessly on preparing individuals for research careers, with an overall emphasis on research relating to innovation. There are two main areas of concentration within each of which there is considerable room for specialization. In the management science and operations area, faculty-supervised research includes operations management, technology management, and project management. There is a strong focus on mathematical, economic and econometric modeling. In the strategy and organizational behaviour area, faculty-supervised research includes individual and organizational innovation, the psychology and sociology of social networks, and organizational learning. There is a strong focus on theory and methods from the social sciences particularly psychology and sociology.
Our goal is to educate leading academics and researchers. We provide rigorous academic training and personalized research mentorship to help you develop as an outstanding scholar at the forefront of management thinking. We seek to recruit highly motivated, ambitious students with strong educational backgrounds.
