MRes in Biomedicine

The MRes in Biomedicine is a comprehensive, one year laboratory research-oriented programme designed to train and equip students prior to entering PhD or higher degree training. The integration of academic and transferable skills development into PhD programmes is now the norm and the MRes provides a framework for the enhancement of these skills.

The programme draws on the wealth of cutting-edge research conducted within UCL Institute of Child Health and Great Ormond Street Hospital. Areas include: Gene-therapy, Stem cell research, Infection and Immunity, childhood development and metabolic defects and cancer. Students are also encouraged to accept projects across all UCL institutions.
