Profile

Research Description

We are interested in how ion channels in particular K channels are regulated in the heart. Furthermore we are interested in how these pathways can prevent or precipitate abnormal cardiac rhythm.

Research Activities

The control of cardiac excitability

Education Description

I teach on the cardiac module in the undergraduate course in biomedical sciences and co-ordinate a cross faculty 4 year PhD scheme.
