This map shows 10 locations in Ancient Merv for which a rotating image is available. The red dots show images developed by the Ancient Merv Project, the orange dots are rotating imagery available on the UNESCO World Heritage website. The five rotating images that were developed by the Ancient Merv Project are within the study areas of the LEAP project "Where to draw the line". The map below shows the same exact locations on an annotated IKONOS sattelite image of the ancient city of Sultan Kala, that highlights the two study areas of this project.
