UCL Portico

UCL mental health spans almost the entire academic faculty of UCL, with PIs engaged with this theme in most of the other eight Faculties as well as the School of Life and Medical Sciences (SLMS).

Expertise is concentrated in the Divisions of Psychology and Language Sciences (PALS) and Population Health (DPH), where over a third of the faculty is engaged in MH related research.

Across UCL over 250 PIs work in the area of mental health and wellbeing.  UCL has made world-class contributions in several fields of mental health research, including the neuroscience of mental health, mental health service development and evaluation, systems neuroscience diagnostics of neuropsychological and neuropsychiatric disorders, computational and psychopharmacological studies, and studies of developmental processes.
