Recent Conferences
April 2011
Prof. Alan Cottenden and Prof. Mandy Fader gave talks this April at the biennial “Innovating for Continence: The Engineering Challenge” conference in Chicago, Illinois. These conferences are run by the UK Institution of Mechanical Engineers (in London) and by the Simon Foundation for Continence (in Chicago) which aims to "bring the topic of incontinence out into the open, removing the stigma surrounding incontinence, and providing help and hope for people with incontinence, their families, and the health professionals who provide their care".
The "Innovating for Continence" conferences also take place in London and the next one will be this December at the Institute of Mechanical Engineers. It is a brilliant opportunity for people with a range of backgrounds to come together and share their ideas and experiences relating to incontinence. See below for some photographs from the most recent conference!
