£6 Million Award for Medical Imaging PhDs

Seb Ourselin, Mark Lythgoe and Geraint Rees (CDT Directors) alongside others, have been awarded £6M for a UCL Centre for Doctoral Training in Medical Imaging by the EPSRC. This will train 70 students over the next 5 years. The Centre will address the shortage of UK trained imaging scientists and prepare medical imaging leaders of the future to tackle the most critically important healthcare challenges with innovative engineering solutions. The 4-year PhD programme in Medical Imaging will provide a strong focus on new imaging technologies, novel analysis methods and integration with computational modelling.
