3T MRI Research Scanner

Our new 3T MRI scanner, jointly funded by UCLH and the National Institute for Health Research Comprehensive Biomedical Research Centre (NIHR/CBRC) will enable scientists and clinicians to work together on translational research projects with direct benefit to patients.

The equipment provides detailed, high definition images of tissue - without the patient being exposed to radiation. Clinical and research teams share the facility 50/50 and applications are now being accepted for research projects.
