Applications and Entry FAQ
I haven't taken an English language test yet. Can I still apply now or do I have to wait for my test result?
You can still submit an application if you have not yet taken an English test provided that all other documents have been submitted (transcripts and references). Any offer will be conditional upon meeting the English language requirements.
Can I apply if I do not have a degree?
No. UCL requires evidence of a very good academic achievement, at degree level, from all applicants.
Can I apply if I don’t have a medical, biological science or health-care related degree?
In order to successfully complete our postgraduate taught degrees applicants will require a good understanding of bioscience. If you don’t have a medical, biological science or health-care related degree and are unsure about your suitability please contact the relevant Course Tutor for advice, outlining the subjects which you have previously studied and the level at which you studied them.
Will I get student accommodation in London?
We endeavour to offer to all students accommodation in or around the main UCL campus in central London.
In which location will my teaching take place?
Core teaching will take place on the Bloomsbury campus. There may also be scheduled teaching at other sites, such as University College London Hospital or the Royal Free Hospital.
