Foundation Post Descriptions
Each two-year foundation training programme consists of an F1 and F2 rotation. Each F1 and F2 post consists of up to four placements (specialties). The length of placements varies from 3 to 6 months. Some placements contain one or even a few sub-specialties.
A list of our 2-year programmes is published each year during the application period. Please keep in mind that all programmes may be subject to change at any time.
Any questions about specific placements, which are not answered in the descriptions published within this section, should be directed to individual hospitals. All missing descriptions in the table below will be published as soon as they are received from the relevant trusts.
