F2 Sign-off

The list of requirements for a successful F2 sign-off can be found here. Your Postgraduate Medical Education (PGME) administrator at your F2 hospital will inform you about their timeline and the forms you need to complete in order to be signed off for your F2 training and officially achieve Foundation competences.
Foundation Achievement of Competence Document (FACD) signed by the FTPD and the FS Director is the document that certifies satisfactory completion of the Foundation Programme and may be requested in future by employers.

FACDs signed and stamped by the Foundation School Director are returned to trainees via the PGME administrator at their F2 hospital, by the end of July (during the summer sign-off). The school cannot produce a new form if the original is lost or not collected from the hospital (we could only provide a photocopy).
