Highlights from the conference "Careers Advice for Trainees; Recruitment 2009"The UK Foundation Programme Office (UKFPO) hosted a successful conference on ‘Careers Advice for Trainees; Recruitment 2009’. Highlights from this event are now available as two podcasts.

The first includes interviews with key speakers offering information and advice to medical students about the Foundation Programme recruitment process; and what to expect in Foundation. The second podcast covers the application process for Specialty training in 2009; as well as which specialties will be increasing recruitment in the future, according to the Department of Health.

This is essential listening for all Foundation trainees who want to know more about future careers paths from those at the top.
