Tubes

Russell Square (Piccadilly Line) is the nearest tube station. Also within walking distance are:

Mainline Rail
Euston, King’s Cross and St. Pancras mainline stations are within walking distance. The other London mainline stations are a short tube or taxi journey away.

Buses
Bus numbers 10, 24, 29, 73, 134, 390 all travel down Gower Street which is the main Senate House entrance. Stewart House can be accessed by passing through the main entrance on to the Russell Square side.
Buses 7, 188, 68, 168, 59 & X68 stop at Russell Square.
Buses 17, 45 and 46 stop in Gray's Inn Road. It is a short walk down Guildford Street to Russell Square.

Parking
Public car parking is not available at Senate House.
There are NCP carparks at Woburn Place and Bloomsbury Place.

Terms of Reference

  1. To inform the participating Foundation Training Programme Directors (FTPDs) within the NCTFS of the application and allocation procedures for the school.
  2. To inform FTPDs of changes and innovations in the Foundation Curriculum and course directed nationally or locally.
  3. To implement and collate quality assurance of programmes within the NCTFS.
  4. To develop and manage an appeals system on issues such as recruitment and assessment.
  5. To facilitate resolution of issues relating to individual specific trainees within the school, using nationally and/or locally agreed policies where available.
  6. To coordinate exchange of information between the NCTFS and the UCL Medical School, and the other Thames foundation schools.
  7. To act as a forum for discussion of issues raised by FTPDs, trainees and potential applicants to the school.
