A portfolio is a collection of documents providing evidence of learning, including an element of reflective practice. We want it to be genuinely useful for you. One focus should be on collecting, in a structured way, evidence that will assist you in writing application forms (e.g. Foundation Year) in the future. It must provide evidence of achievements and competencies and the ability to reflect on practice. Keeping a portfolio is now a part of all doctors’ lives so we hope this will also prepare you for the future.
