Get involved in UCL Medical School

We have lots of opportunities for you to contribute to medical education and continue your involvement in UCL life as well as building your teaching portfolio and making contacts. Whether you are teaching our students, selecting them at admissions interviews, examining in OSCEs or getting involved in our innovative consultancy activities, there is always a place for you in the UCL Medical School family!

 FY shadowing
A special component of the Year 1 clinical experience is the clinical shadowing sessions the students undertake during the Year 2 Introduction and Orientation Module (IOM), whereby students shadow a Foundation Year (FY) doctor for a shift. It gives early years medical students a glimpse of what their future career entails, as well as introducing the clinical setting from a doctor’s perspective. mbbsy1@ucl.ac.uk
