No chance for peace in the Middle East

Neither side is ready for serious peacemaking in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and the sooner the United States gets the message, the better the prospects of avoiding another major Arab-Israeli war. Such a regional war would shatter the present calm in Israel and the Palestinian territories, and could endanger the fragile economic recovery that is currently underway in the United States, writes Professor Neill Lochery (UCL Hebrew & Jewish Studies) in The National Post.
