DEGREE STRUCTURES
GENERAL RULES
(i) To graduate with a BSc degree, students must
(a) pass at least 11 units;
(b) take at least 3 units at advanced level
(ii) To graduate with an MSci degree students must
(a) pass at least 14.5 units
(b) pass at least 3 units at Masters level -
you should ensure your choice of options conforms to this, and may be
well advised to take more than 3 units at Masters level. This is particularly
likely to need consideration for students on combined degrees
Note: you should not assume that the degree structure given here (or
the portico rules) automatically mean that you will fulfil the above conditions.
Please check and discuss if necessary. In general courses MATH3* (or PHAS3*,
etc) are at advanced level, while MATHM* (or PHASM*, etc) are at Master's
level.
