Research Interests
History of Mathematics

Jeremy Gray works on the history of mathematics in the 19th and early 20th centuries, with a particular interest in geometry and analysis. His most recent book is Plato’s Ghost: The Modernist Transformation of Mathematics, Princeton University Press, Princeton 2008, and he is presently finishing a scientific biography of Henri Poincaré, which will be published by Princeton University Press in 2012.
