Information for Prospective Graduates

Mathematicians leaving UCL with a PhD from our Department are equipped for work at the highest professional level in academic research and teaching, in the research departments of major commercial and government enterprises and in international organisations.  Recent graduates of the Department have obtained academic posts in leading universities throughout the world including Imperial College London, Goldsmith's College, Open University, University of Crete, Goddard Institute of Space Science USA and the University of Chittagong, Bangladesh.

Our graduates have found employment in a wide variety of organisations such as Hillier-Parker, IBM, Swissbank, Commerzbank Global Equities, British Gas, Harrow Public School, Building Research Establishment and the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather-Forecasting.
