The Faculty of Mathematical and Physical Sciences encompasses the logical, experimental and mathematical study of our Universe. The Faculty is an internationally renowned centre for both theoretical and applied research and a centre of educational excellence.

Astronomer Richard Ellis is to join UCL's Department of Physics & Astronomy as Professor of Astrophysics.

UCL's Ian Robinson presented with Aminoff prize

On the 30th March Professor Ian Robinson, the Gregori Aminoff Prize Laureate of 2015, visited Lund in Southern Sweden for the Gregori Aminoff Prize symposium that was held in his honour.
