Night Sky Watcher

Raman Prinja, professor of astrophysics in UCL Physics & Astronomy, has been shortlisted for the Royal Society Young People's Book Prize.

His most recent book, Night Sky Watcher, was chosen by a panel of eminent judges, and will now go head-to-head with six others for selection by a jury of young readers who will select the winner.

Night Sky Watcher is a guide to the cosmos for young readers, giving practical advice for observing the night sky, as well as a scientific grounding in modern astronomy.
